Senior Story- Redding CA Senior Photographer

Hello fabulous Essence Photography followers! So excited to steal a moment from this busy holiday season and share a recent Senior Story session. Thank you so much to all my clients that have been blessing me like crazy this year. I've been overwhelmed with love and support and I can honestly say my heart is full of love for each one of you!

Tonight's session was a drop dead gorgeous senior. And I felt so honored to photograph these images for her. She has such a beautiful personality, she's down to earth, kind, and full of joy.

We had quite an adventure exploring some of the most beautiful locations Redding, CA has to offer. I'm so blessed to live in such a beautiful city. I can drive literally 5 minutes in any direction and find an Epic setting for any story I'm capturing.

The ending to this beautiful session caught the sunset light just perfectly. THANK YOU Senior *K* for allowing me the opportunity to photograph such an exciting chapter in your life story! Your an amazing young lady, with an incredible future ahead of you. Whatever chapter in life your writing, enjoy every moment!

Sneak Peek

Yay time to Blog! I know it's been a few months, and I am so excited to jump right into the middle of my busy wedding season with a sneak peak! I've been so blessed and so honored to have the opportunity to capture so many amazing weddings this season! Each and everyone is so different, and it's so amazing to witness such a fantastic celebration of love. Thank you A&E for letting Justin and I be apart of this day in your lives. Gover Ranch Anderson CA Wedding Venue

SO I had the pleasure of photographing out at Gover Ranch this past week. SO BEAUTIFUL, spring was fully in bloom and I fell in LOVE with the venue. SO many unique and beautiful features to the Northern California Wedding Venue. They have amazing gardens, a walnut orchard, outdoor kitchen, and a cottage!



Gover Ranch is also offering a FANTASTIC special right now, so if your getting married and need a venue I HIGHLY recommend going and checking out Gover Ranch, you will not be dissapointed, and I am certain you will fall in love with it, just like I did!

I HIGHLY recommend contacting Gwen Edwardson, she is an amazing and very talented wedding coordinator! She let me borrow some of her beautiful vintage props for this shoot in the orchard, and I was very grateful.



Also had the pleasure of working with Jen Siqueiros an AMAZING and very TALENTED Make Up artist. I was so impressed with how prepared she was, she brought her own makeup chair, and lighting, as well as an Airbrush machine, that's right she Airbrushed the bride, and it was the most beautiful make up job, so light, well covered, perfect in everyway, I was very very impressed. Brides to be, consider using her for all your make up needs, she will make getting ready a breeze!






Hair was done by the Amazing talent of Stephanie Jimenez (530) 222-9911 from Red Chair Salon here in Redding CA. I was BLOWN AWAY by her talent and gift. She did such a creative and spectacular job creating this bridal up do! Her and Jen worked side by side, pampering and preparing this bride for her photoshoot. She had her work cut out for her too, because the wind outside was blowing really hard, so getting her hair to stay can be a bit tricky. But she made a flawless look that lasted through it all!




Last but not least I worked with Sarah from Sera Bella Floral..... oh my goodness,I was so inspired be her gift! She put together the most creative and beautiful wedding bouquet! Her work really speaks for itself, but if you need a florist for your upcoming wedding, or special event, contact Sera Bella..... you will not be dissapointed.
